Our Mission
We want to allow young girls to nurture their entrepreneurial tendencies. Our goal is to help girls who do not have the financial resources or connections access to people who do while teaching them how to develop entrepreneurial skills.
We want to help girls who come from families who struggle financially. A Girl’s Frontier ensures that any future they desire is feasible.
Kids are some of the most creative minds in the world. By providing our young generation with resources to expand their knowledge, we can help them change the world. We want them to be able expand their horizons. We want to provide them with opportunities to make their dreams come true.
A Girl’s Frontier was founded in 2018 by Isha Uppalapati, a senior at Walton High School in Atlanta, GA. She started A Girl’s Frontier to provide opportunities for young girls all over Metro Atlanta and the whole world. No matter where they may be, our organization makes sure that we can provide them with the necessary support for them to achieve their goals in life. Our programs focus on education, mentorship, and outreach.
The goal of our nonprofit organization in Atlanta, Georgia, is to empower young girls by helping them financially through their education, as well as teaching them important entrepreneurial skills. We want girls to know that they can be leaders in the business world, regardless of the challenges in their way.
A Girl’s Frontier is a certified 501 (c)(3) organization.
A Message from Our Founder
Ever since I was young, my dad and I would brainstorm different tools that we could produce. We tried to create little trinkets that would make life easier. We also wrote small children’s books. Over time, my desire to create new things has not faded. I want to create something that can create a change.
This is why I want to create opportunities for girls who have similar dreams that I do, but don’t have the support to do it on their own.
